Spectrum at the 2014 ACTSmart Business Sustainability Expo

Last month Bill was invited to be a guest speaker at this year’s Expo. Three Canberra business leaders who’s firms are exponents of energy and water efficiencies, and better waste management, were asked to discuss and answer questions about their experiences and approach.

Bill, Maryke Booth from Shop Basics and Philip Buchanan from Serco covered the gamut of how a small business offering graphic design services in Canberra to retailing visual display merchandise to the Canberra market all the way up to a large multinational company employing over 100,000 people first made changes, institutionalised these and have maintained their waste reduction initiatives.
